New Horizons is nearing the pinnacle of its nearly ten-year journey, and the internet is getting psyched.
In an [exceptional] effort to get the mission back on people's minds, the National Space Society put together this video below. It was posted to reddit by Stark_Warg, and it didn't take long for it to reach the front page. It's a stellar video that lays out some of the most impressive space-exploration milestones we've reached, and when we reached them. They've aptly titled it "New Horizons", and it's directed by Erik Wernquist, the same guy who brought us "Wanderers", last year's viral space short film.
Reddit loved it, as is evident in the comments below. When you're done watching the video, please let us know what you thought, and be sure to share it with your friends on Facebook!
