Black holes are plenty cool. They can consume a near infinite amount of anything at unimaginable rates, they're created from dying stars, and they're full of mystery.

But wormholes? This is a whole different game. They're also referred to as Einstein-Rosen Bridges, and these hypothesized passageways have the ability to provide a shortcut through spacetime. It's easy to see why these could-be-fictional topological features are used (and often abused) frequently in Hollywood to achieve intergalactic time travel.
