There's sixteen tree photos in this list, but it'll take a lot of effort to make it past the first one. These aren't your grandma's shrubs, and this thing is impressive.
One might think that this rhododendron was grown using some fabled concoction to aid in its growth, but its secret lays in its age: at 125 years old, this tree was likely planted right around the time Yosemite was established as a national park (1890). Grover Cleveland had just left the White House, but little did America know he'd be back in just a short time. Over a century later, Cleveland still stands alone as the only American president to serve non-consecutive terms. I've got one question though — is this thing a tree or a shrub? Sure, there's a definition in the dictionary, but I want you to decide. Let us know on Facebook, and when you're done, share this awesome photo gallery with your friends!
