One might think that this rhododendron was grown using some fabled concoction to aid in its growth, but its secret lays in its age: at 125 years old, this tree was likely planted right around the time Yosemite was established as a national park (1890). Grover Cleveland had just left the White House, but little did America know he'd be back in just a short time. Over a century later, Cleveland still stands alone as the only American president to serve non-consecutive terms. I've got one question though — is this thing a tree or a shrub?
